Before graduating from Goucher College in 2006 with a BA in French and Music, Leah grew up in Rhode Island surrounded by musicians. Early on, her father instilled in her a love for performing and attending live shows. Further developing Leah’s love of the arts, her mother is an award winning graphic artist and worked in the industry for over 30 years.
In 2003, the family opened Main Street Music and Leah spent much of her free time helping out. She particularly enjoyed providing voice lessons to students from age 5 to 50. Finding a joy in teaching, she moved to France and taught English to Parisian high school students, successfully scratching her travel itch. She moved to California in 2010 and is thrilled to be pursuing her lifelong dream - a career in music.
