The Green Children
As well as being musicians, The Green Children’s Milla Sunde & Marlow Bevan are also big believers in promoting positive solutions that are working to conquer poverty, educate children and provide healthcare in the needy areas of the world.
Milla Sunde was born and raised on the west coast of Norway, in a small town called Alesund. Alesund is home to very dramatic nature, which has always acted as a great inspiration for Milla’s creativity. From a young age she hoped to channel this creativity in a way that could positively influence the world.
Marlow Bevan is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter. He met Milla at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, a school jointly established by Sir Paul McCartney.
After partnering to write a song, the pair have been busy working together ever since. Marlow’s home is Warwick, a medieval town in central England. Close to the area where Shakespeare lived, Warwick is a magical and charming place. Marlow and Milla share a great passion for music and humanitarianism and believe in using their talent for a greater purpose.
That greater purpose has turned into The Green Children Foundation, which is working with 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Prof. Muhammad Yunus. Yunus established Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, known as 'the bank for the poor'. The bank has helped over 7 million poor women develop small businesses and escape poverty. Help the poor to help themselves.
The Green Children have also stayed focused on their music - the very root of their chemistry. They will be releasing their new single, “Dragons”, on July 27th, which will feature a version remixed by Paul Oakenfold as well as a video. This is the first release from Ethan Browne’s Spinside Records/Inside Recordings.
